☀️ Summer?! ☀️

Yyyup! Summer.
It’s here, and it’s got HANDS.

Ever since I moved from LA back to the east coast, I’ve come to learn something. East coasters are a different breed. The humid summers here make the dry summers out west look like a cakewalk!

Almost. Somewhat.

I mean—it’s so easy to say that, but to be honest, whenever I step outside of the house during summer on either coast, I feel like I just walked into a brick wall. Made of pure…thermal malice.

Last month, I got a major surgery—a roughly 2.5 pound unfriendly growth was removed along with an entire organ. This marks the third time I’ve been under the knife—the second time I've been in surgery in less than a year! 🤮

Aaand as per usual, I just couldn’t stay still. NOPE. :D
Okay, I have been taking it easy, though. Doctor’s orders. And of course, my lovely wife has been home looking after me on top of that, and Carrot was so pouty that he couldn’t lay on top of me for a bit.

I’m hoping that getting that thing evicted will lead to me having more energy to do things! (I say for the third time...)

I’ll be returning to the coworking space at VentureX this month, as well as looking into starting streams/hangouts on the weekends. I’ll also be getting back to work on TwistedFates:LUCAS and other projects as well!

📷 A Peek Into the Studio 📷

So…a LOT of things have been happening! Well—as much as can happen with a doctor-ordered break. Though shoot…have you ever been told to stay put? HA!

My wife helped me clean up my workspace after it kinda got a little wacky, and of course I hopped back on the creation train a little bit. I decided to start trying to make vinyl stickers (spoilers, they worked out KINDA) as well as a shadowbox project I’ve been thinking about. Annnd of course, I also couldn’t resist the urge to attempt making a book by hand. I’ll let you know how that’s going…another time e`_e

The text block and I aren’t on speaking terms right now.

Stupid…paper.

We’re going to work on decorating the studio sometime soon as well, which is why you see those like…sound panels on the side there. And no, I’m not going to fight the adhesive. These walls aren’t adhesive friendly, I’ve realized. e3e

I’ll probably blog more in depth about what I’m working on, and when I do I’ll be more than happy to share that with you!

I’m probably going to start making it a weekend (Saturday + Sunday, not my weird 3-day weekend) thing, and I’ll be streaming both on Twitch and Youtube! You’ll be the first to know when I plan on doing The Thing! I’ll more than likely be doing art streams as usual, but I’m hoping one day to mix it up and do hangouts and chat sessions. Time will tell!
