"A Ray of Citrus Sunshine"

That’s what a friend of mine called me today.

And when I tell you that that compliment put the biggest, goofiest grin on my face—which I TOTALLY need right now, believe me—I’d be making a gross understatement. Because I didn’t just grin like a big doof...

I giggled and took that in. Because that’s just what I’m gunning to be—a ray of sun in anyone’s life!

Same day, I was on the phone with someone in customer service! She said that I made her day, that she was actually enjoying talking with me because I have such a cheerful disposition. And you know what—that made my day!

It got me curious, and I’d love to know:

I know it’s really spooky seeing all the stuff out there—horrified by headlines, discouraged by all the dissonance on the social medias…it is a tough and often lonely time for a lot of us. I’m not all about toxic positivity, but I do love the feeling of sharing a smile with someone, even when the going gets rough.
